Yard Facilities
Bluewater Algarve's engineering workshop is
conveniently based in the Estelero de Portimao.
Boasting the largest selection of travel lifts for
500 miles in any direction, at your service is a 14
meter Trailer Lift, a 50 Ton Travel Lift and by no
means least the Big Daddy 300 Ton Travel Lift.
Mobile chains are available of all sizes for full
and half day periods.
Full yard services are
available including Slurry blasting and peeling,
Anti-fouling, Anti Osmosis treatment, polishing,
re-spraying, Stainless steel fabrication,
Re-plating, all mechanical, electrical and
electronic fault diagnosis and repair.
All booking can be arranged through our Portimao

Rigging
Bluewater Algarve have been rigging and re-rigging
yachts from 8-20 meters for the last decade, we do
not hold stock so a quick fix is not likely, but if
its peace off mind and quality workmanship look no
further.
We are agents for Seldon masts for Lagos
and Portimao, our friendly office staff will be glad
to order any blocks, winches or miscellaneous parts,
either direct from the manufacturer or from our
large catalogue ordering service.

Electrical and Electronics
Bluewater Algarve are sales, service and warranty
agents for all major brands Except Furuno and
Garmin.
Our engineers are on hand to help, from a
blown fuse (always a good chance) to a full
electrical or electronic re-fit, our experience will
show from the planning to completion. Most equipment
is available in 24hrs. |

Refrigeration
Bluewater Algarve are the importers for Isotherm in
Portugal, we hold a selection of spares and units in
stock, we will help with all refrigeration and
air-conditioning maters, from leak detection to a

Fabrication
Bluewater Algarve have a top class fabricator Steven
Haji, from bespoke cleats, davits, fishing towers,
tanks nothing is to difficult, re-plating off hulls
ferrous or non ferrous flat or formed the end result
is impressive.
We also work with a local engineering
shop for all our turning and milling. All materials
are worked with. |

Water Makers
Bluewater Algarve are the importers for spectra
water machines. Having represented spectra for six
years we have a good working knowledge off all their
systems, if you require some assistance in choosing
the correct model for your vessel, please feel free

factor for all water makers. Make sure you get it

Deliveries
The Managing Director for the company worked as a professional
delivery skipper for four years prior to setting up Bluewater Algarve in 1998. We are happy to Quote on
all deliveries up to 2500T. We have on our books
various skippers, all of which have been personally
chosen and sailed with Paul Mallett M.D. Yacht master
Ocean D.O.T.
Because of our experience, we will where
possible, give a fixed price quotation excluding
mechanical failure or storm bound for 3 days or
more.
No hidden extras full shore support. (Some
owners welcome for the trip) |
